in-between koi

I am learning to love
muddy water,
the murky religion
under the floating dead
leaves and in-between koi.
I eat nameless seeds,
tart purple off the lolling branches,
and let the sun sting my eyes;
fear displaced by trust.
muddy water,
the murky religion
under the floating dead
leaves and in-between koi.
I eat nameless seeds,
tart purple off the lolling branches,
and let the sun sting my eyes;
fear displaced by trust.
